Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund, less processing charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for transactions using credit card

Conditions: Requests must be submitted in written form by email or phone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the full charter price

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from refund amount

Conditions: Justifiable reason needed; subject to administrative fees

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Refunds not available

Exception: Consideration may be given in emergencies

Alternative: At discretion of management, a credit for charter may be offered

Conditions: Proof required for emergency considerations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety is our priority. In case our certified captain deems weather conditions as unsafe for sailing, we provide flexible alternatives:

  • Full Refund: If rescheduling isn’t an option, a complete refund is provided
  • Reschedule: Postpone your charter to an available date at no extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Issue of credit, valid for one year from the original booking date

Weather Assessment Method

Our weather evaluations involve:

  • Assessing wind speed and direction
  • Evaluating wave size and sea state
  • Forecasting visibility and precipitation levels
  • Considering Coast Guard advisories and cautions
  • Conducting a safety analysis by our professional captain

Decision Time: Decisions regarding weather-induced cancellations are made no later than 4 hours before the planned departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Cases of Emergency

We comprehend that unexpected medical situations may arise. The following scenarios may be considered for special refunds:

  • Sudden medical conditions or injuries resulting in hospitalization
  • Immediate family member's passing
  • Unexpected military orders or emergency calls
  • Summoned for jury service or by a court subpoena
  • Natural disasters disrupting travel plans

Required Documentation

For processing your emergency refund request, please provide:

  • A medical statement or hospital issuance
  • A certified death record (if applicable)
  • Verified military directives
  • A judicial summons or jury notice
  • Official travel warnings or disaster alerts

Processing: Emergency refund requests are processed within 3-5 business days after the necessary documentation is received.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Complications

In the event that the vessel assigned to you encounters unresolvable technical issues:

  • Replacement Vessel: We will attempt to provide a similar alternative
  • Full Refund: Offered when no appropriate replacement can be found
  • Partial Refund: Provided if the alternate vessel differs in pricing
  • Compensation: Possible additional recompense for the inconvenience

Unavailability of Crew

In the uncommon event that a certified crew cannot be provided:

  • We will try to arrange a substitute crew if possible
  • A full refund is given if the charter cannot continue
  • Option to reschedule with no extra fees

Refund Payment Methods

Refunded amounts will be returned via the original payment method utilized to make the booking:

  • Credit Cards: Timing of 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: Within 3-5 business days

Service Charges for Processing

Credit Transactions

A €50 fee applies to cancellations made more than 72 hours prior

Processing for Bank Transfers

Every refund via bank transfer incur a €25 charge

Transactions Internationally

There might be extra fees associated with international bank transactions

Credit Issuance for Charters

Credit Granting Conditions

Under certain circumstances, rather than providing a refund, we may opt to issue a credit for charter services:

  • Cancellations made last-minute (under 24 hours notice)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Voluntary changes made to bookings
  • Perturbations related to operations

Stipulations of Credit

  • Duration of Validity: 12 months from the date of issue
  • Non-transferrable: Credits cannot be passed on to other individuals
  • Monetary Value: Equivalent to the entire value of the charter, without deductions for processing fees
  • Application: Applicable towards any available future charter
  • Expiry: No extensions past the 12-month period

Partially Utilized Service Refunds

Interruptions During Service

If the charter experience is interrupted or cut short due to reasons we are accountable for:

  • Refund proportionate to the part of the service not rendered
  • Credit for a future charter of equal worth
  • Complimentary offers or value additions

Discontinuation Due to Guest Actions

If a charter is concluded early due to the behavior of guests or violations pertaining to safety:

  • No reimbursement for the unused time
  • Obligation to fulfill the payment in full
  • Potential for additional charges

Procedure for Dispute Settlement

If you are unsatisfied with a decision related to a refund, you may:

  • Seek a reassessment from our management team
  • Submit extra documents or evidence
  • Contact consumer protection organizations
  • Explore legal options under the prevailing law

Our team will recognize your appeal within a day, evaluate it against this policy, communicate a verdict within two days, and carry out approved reimbursements within the mentioned timeframes.

Critical Points to Note

  • All applications for refund must be delineated in writing
  • Refunds are carried out in €, notwithstanding the currency originally used for payment
  • Purchasing travel insurance is highly advised
  • This policy is open to modifications, provided a 30-day notice is given
  • Refunded amounts are in accordance with relevant taxes and regulations
